A video that has gone viral, supposedly showing Chris Brown and Drake‘s nightclub brawl in New York City … is NOT real!
On Thursday (Jun 14), a ton of websites were tricked into posting a blurry YouTube video (above), claiming it was footage from Chris Brown and Drake’s infamous fight that went down the night before at W.i.P nightclub in New York City.
While the video does, indeed, show a nightclub brawl … it is NOT footage from Chris Brown and Drake’s fight. In fact, the video being passed around as the “Chris Brown and Drake Fight Video” wasn’t even recorded the same nightclub!
According to Gossip Cop:
The video is actually an OLD and UNRELATED clip of some other fight that has NOTHING to do with either Drake or Brown, but was posted with a fake title … The random, non-Brown/Drake fight clip was actually posted way back in February (if not even earlier).
So far, the only legitimate video footage from the incident shows Chris Brown, Drake and others, including recording artists Trey Songz and Meek Mill, leaving the club AFTER the incident.
