Jennifer Lopez says that she is NOT engaged to her boytoy of the past 8 months Casper Smart.

Lopez recently sparked rumors of an engagement after she was spotted rocking a huge diamond ring on her finger. But she took to her website last Friday (Jun 8) to squash the recent headlines.

Quoting her hit single “Jenny from the Block” she wrote:

“Rumors!!! Don’t be fooled by the rocks that I got … No engagement!”

The 42-year-old American Idol judge briefly opened about Smart back in April during an interview with Vogue Magazine.

“He’s adorable. But you already see that. He really is sweet. He’s a good egg. I don’t want to talk about it too much. It’s my private thing,” she gushed.

Lopez started dating the 25-year-old back-up dance last fall, right after her divorce from Marc Anthony (the father of her 4-year-old twins Max and Emme).

She has said of their 18 year age gap, “I don’t feel older and I don’t feel like I look it, either, so I’m just acting the same way I have always acted.”

J.Lo sounds like she’s having fun … and ain’t nothing wrong with that.
