I always absolutely loved Raven Symone. I grew up watching her show, watching The Cosby Show reruns with her on them(I’m 16), and watching the Cheetah Girls movies. I looked up this girl she’s with on google images and she seems butch. Sometimes when I see butch people I have no problem with it and sometimes I do. There’s something about this girl that when I see her, I just don’t like her vibe or her look lol. Maybe it’s the haircut along with how skinny she is. I don’t know, but feeling this way and seeing this does not change any of my support for Raven Symone.

Raven is a great roll model for young women she’s very positive, respectful and has grown up to be a beautiful young lady. Her sexual orientation is her personal business. I guess since she grew up without having wild and shocking headlines this was the juiciest thing the media could come up with.

for me personally, it does not matter her sexual orientation, I
still like her, feel that she is talented. This in no way influences me
on letting my child or any other child watch her in reruns, current or
otherwise. Now if she were nasty, rude and vulgar and had a terrible
public image, I would have a problem. But since she has led her life in a
respectful way. I say more power to her. People have committed suicide
over being found out and so much negative stuff. I think I am a prime
example of knowing about gay folk and lifestyle has made me a better adult and
parent. My children do not discriminate and are not homophobic and
respect those who respect them. Go Raven!
