50 Cent tweeted out photos of himself lying in a hospital bed Wednesday (May 16) after being admitted for a stomach virus.

In one of the photos, the rapper, wearing a hospital gown, is surrounded by a small collection of stuffed animals, including a giraffe, an elephant and a lion.

Though 50 looks sad and sickly in the pics … his friend DJ Drama, who recently collaborated with the G-Unit rapper on a new mixtape, told XXL Mag that he was suffering from a simple “stomach flu/virus” and he’s expected to make a quick recovery.

“First they wanted to keep it quiet, but he’s not a quiet guy. He should be cool. It’s nothing that serious. We still gonna do our promo run stuff [Thursday].”

As soon as 50 is ready, he and Drama will kick off promotion for their new mixtape “Gangsta Grillz: The Lost Tape,” which is set for release on May 22nd.

Fiddy updated his 6.5 million Twitter followers with the picture below on Thursday (May 17), assuring them that he is all better, and will be released soon.

“I’m feeling better today I think I’m gonna get out of the hospital soon. EMINEM called me last night I love him that’s my boy,” he tweeted.
