Taking advantage of the warm weather in New York City this week, Beyonce took her newborn daughter Blue Ivy Carter out to Prospect Park in Brooklyn Thursday afternoon (Mar 8).
Dressed up in a black leather jacket, dark pants and wearing a large pair of round sunglasses, new mom Beyonce kept little Blue Ivy covered up in a white blanket as she reportedly arrived to the park with her mom Tina Knowles and other friends who brought their kids along as well.
According to US Weekly, Beyonce and friends were “chilling on the grass” with a “blanket out,” while other people in their group were spotted passing around a football.
“She was walking with her mom and the baby,” said a witness who spotted Beyonce and her crew at the park. “[It was] a family day … She seemed relaxed and laid back.”
And guess what? “No one was bothering them at all!” the anonymous source revealed.
After the quiet family outing, Beyonce and Jay-Z left Blue at home when they went out later that night to attend a party for their friend, R&B singer Robin Thicke, who celebrated his 34th birthday — which is really this Saturday (Mar 10) — at Catch lounge in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District.
