Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is pregnant!
Earlier this month, the “Jersey Shore” star denied pregnancy rumors, however, sources tell the New York Post that Snooki is indeed with child, and wants to become “the next Kourtney Kardashian.”
According to The Post, the 24-year-old reality TV personality is around 3 months along, and the baby’s father is her boyfriend Jionni LaVelle.
Sources say that Snooki’s pregnancy has put MTV in “crisis mode,” and they’re worrying about how to handle the news, seeing as Snooki’s wild and crazy partying ways are basically the foundation for her character on “Jersey Shore” and her new spin-off with Jenni “JWoww” Farley, which has already begun shooting in New Jersey … and of course, being pregnant will make all of that very difficult.
“MTV went into crisis mode after they found out,” said a source. “They’re trying to hide it because it would greatly affect the creative direction of the show.”
Just a few weeks ago, Star Magazine reported that Snooki was pregnant, but she had only broken to the news to her close friends and family.
In a February 2nd interview with “Good Morning America,” Snooki told host Lara Spencer, “I definitely do want kids, but I’m not pregnant … Being pregnant should be a real thing and a happy thing, and I’m not.”
But as it turns out, Snooki really is pregnant, and will reportedly announce the big news on an upcoming cover of US Weekly.
Can’t say that we’re totally shocked about any of this. It was bound to happen someday…
