Lil Boosie is remaining optimistic after being sentenced to 8 years in prison yesterday for attempting to smuggle drugs into prison.
Surprisingly, the rapper’s lawyer says he is happy with the time the judge gave him and is confident he will be allowed to participate in a drug rehab program.
Boosie, who is reportedly addicted to codeine and other drugs, also sent a personal statement to TMZ on the matter, stating:
“Don’t worry about me I am getting help with my drug addiction and I am accepting full responsibility for the choice I made. I am going to fight the false murder charge till the end. Love you all.”
If only Conrad Murray could have this same type of attitude……if you do the crime, do the time!
