Drake and Lil Wayne have decided to give their collaboration album the axe …. at least for now.

Due to them catching a lot of flack from people who compare the project to Kanye West and Jay-Z‘s joint album “Watch The Throne,” the YMCMB rappers plan on postponing their album to a later date and time.

Drake told XXL:

“Me and Wayne scrapped the idea of a collaboration album. We just agreed that it would be looked upon as…It would be sort of this competition [with Watch The Throne]. I feel like it would get caught in this whirlwind of hype. [Wayne] agreed. We just said, ‘If we do it, we’ll do it down the line. But right now is not the time.'”

WOW! We thought they liked the idea of battling with Ye and Jigga, especially with Drake taking subliminal shots in songs like “I’m On One.”

Is it just us or does Weezy and Drizzy seem a little afraid of the competition???
