Bruno Mars has gone from writing for other artists to now writing for award winning movie franchises. (Can you say cha-ching?)

Earlier today the R&B singer/songwriter debuted his new song “It Will Rain,” which will be featured on the upcoming soundtrack for “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1.”

“The Twilight movies for me [are] a love story. But it’s a dark love story,” Bruno told Billboard. “And I think the best way to describe the song is: it’s the darker side of love. I think that pretty much sums it up.”

The “Breaking Dawn Part 1″ soundtrack will be released on November 8th, with the movie’s release just 10 days later on the 18th.
