Former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world Mike Tyson recently renewed his wedding vows with wife Lakiha Spicer in Las Vegas.
The pair, who originally wed 2 years ago after the death of Tyson’s 2-year-old daughter Exodus, decided to prank their guests and invite them to a fake joint birthday celebration at the M Resort in Las Vegas this past Saturday (Jun 25). To up the ante, Tyson even tweeted about the bogus party: “My wife & I are getting ready to host friends & family tonight. Many we haven’t seen in years. It’s going to be a great night.”
After all of the guests were gathered, the prankster couple vanished only to arrive later suited & booted in their wedding outfits.
The couple then proceeded to renew their wedding vows in a traditional Muslim ceremony, followed by guests partying late into the night in the hotel’s ballroom with a live band.
It is being reported that the reason the couple decided to renew their wedding vows this soon and have a big “wedding” party was to make up for their original wedding, which was a small intimate affair.
Tyson and Spicer are parents to a 2-year-old daughter (Milan) and a 6-month-old son (Morocco Elijah). Tyson has also fathered five other children with other women.
