Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has finally set a date to wed her basketball beau Kris Humphries this summer.
The “Today” show’s Kathie Lee Gifford was the one who dished the news to Pop Eater’s Rob Shuter. “I’ve been told a particular date,” Gifford said while refusing to confirm the actual date. When asked if she’d be attending her friend’s wedding she said, “Darn right we are going to that wedding.”
An insider also told Shuter, “The date that close friends of the family are being given is toward the beginning of August. They are looking at private estates in Los Angeles, since location will make it much easier for guests flying in to attend.”
In usual Kardashian style, the most anticipated event of the year will be televised in a 2 hour long special for E! “Kim really wants her fans to celebrate with her on the most important day of her life,” a source said.
So what part is Momma Kris playing in all of this? “The last Kardashian wedding was insane. This time Momma Kris wants time to plan and prepare and make sure the entire family has time to enjoy getting ready for the big day. Kris deserves this moment … and she fully intends to make sure every detail is just perfect.”
