Montae Talbert, also known as M Bone from the rap group Cali Swag District, died late Sunday night (May 15) after after being rushed to the hospital following a gun fight outside of an Inglewood, California liquor store.

While details at the moment are scarce, sources tell Radar Online that Talbert, 22, was in a vehicle when someone from another car nearby fired two shots, fatally wounding him.

Inglewood Police say that around 10:30 pm last night, officers responded to a call about a shooting, and when they arrived on the scene, they found a black male adult slumped over the steering wheel in the driver’s seat of a black car.

“The man had been shot twice in the head,” police told RadarOnline.com. “He was taken by paramedics to nearby hospital, where he died. Police said a witness told them that “the man was sitting in the driver’s seat of the car when suspects approached in a separate car… [and fired] two gun shots at the man.”

Cali Swag District’s “Teach Me How to Dougie” hit peaked at #28 on the Billboard charts last year, and while the song wasn’t a huge success chart-wise, it was a commercial success and was certified platinum in the United States. And not only that, but big celebrities like Chris Brown and even First Lady Michelle Obama have been seen doing “the Dougie.”
