It takes the whole cast the maid is funny, Jon Cryer is funny and even the kid is a crack up. Its the writers that makes the show enjoyable. They have replaced people on other shows bf and its worked out. For example Monk when Sharona was replaced, people said the new girl would not work out and they would not watch it etc. It turned out the new girl was fine and matter of fact I liked her better. Charlie made his bed with his BIG mouth so now let him lie in it.
