Actor Robert Pattinson has owned up to telling a few fibs!
The UK native admitted to falsifying his connections to the UK’s Royal Family when he first came to America.
Using his British appeal to draw in new US acquaintances, the “Twilight” actor used the Royal’s to make an impression on his new friends.
In an interview with Jimmy Kemmel Pattinson confessed: “I don’t think I’ve ever met them (the royals). I used to tell people when I came to the States that I did. They believed me! Five or six years ago when I first used to come to Los Angeles there weren’t many English people, now there are like a million and people still believe me.”
Pattinson currently stars alongside Reese Witherspoon in the new film ‘Water for Elephants,’ in theaters now.
