We guess Brett Favre doesn’t have to worry about being the only family f**k up now…

The NFL player’s younger sister Brandi and four others were arrested this week after being discovered in an active meth lab located in a suburban Mississippi town.

Police were tipped off about the location of the lab following a drug sale at the front of the upscale community.

“We bought some meth off of an individual and that’s what led us to this location here,” said Matt Karl, Director of the Hancock County Narcotics Task Force.

Once Narcotics agents entered the condo, they were shocked at what they found. “When we arrived, there were a couple of people coming out of the house and the chemical smell was just overwhelming. It was pretty bad. And then we discovered the full lab in the bathroom; it was still cooking. I think we collected pretty close to ten grams of finished product, which, that’s a lot of meth.”

Officials immediately evacuated seven of the closest condo units. The bust came as no surprise to neighbors. One woman who didn’t want to be identified said she’s been suspicious for a long time. “I have witnessed people coming and going at all hours of the night for the two years I’ve lived here,” she said. “It’s been going on for two years, and I have complained to the security in Diamondhead. And I have gotten no results. I am delighted to see this.”

Neighbors said they had even noticed strange odors coming from the condo. “I can’t describe the smell, but a very, very strange smell,” another neighbor recalled. “And I even went next door and knocked on his door and asked him if he would see if something was on fire over there, because I smelled something horrible. And he told me he had been cooking pork chops.”

Narcotics agents say the cooking they uncovered is extremely dangerous, and could have caused an explosion. “In the past two or three years, I think this is about our fifth one we got in Diamondhead. I mean, you don’t think about that,” Karl said. “Meth labs in Diamondhead. Yes, they are here. And we’re working on them, and we’re going to get them out of here.”

Those arrested include Brandi Favre, David Logan, Marty Grimes, Alesha Kirkland and Carl Wynn, III. All are charged with manufacturing of meth, possession of a controlled substance, transferring a controlled substance and generation of hazardous waste. Neighbors were allowed to return to their homes a few hours after they were evacuated.
