Eva Longoria isn’t planning on adopting any babies from Haiti, or anywhere else for that matter, anytime soon.

The “Desperate Housewives” star, currently going through a devastating divorce from her husband, NBA player Tony Parker, was rumored (via Britain’s Daily Mail) to be in talks to adopt a child from Haiti, similar to what Sandra Bullock did earlier this year after she divorced her husband Jesse James. However, a source tells People.com that the rumors are “not true” and Longoria isn’t be bringing any new members into her family right now.

“She is simply heartbroken,” a friend told PEOPLE recently. “She really wishes Tony the best. She just wants this whole situation to be as peaceful as it can be under the circumstances. He’s a good person at heart, and she wants the best for him.”

Another friend of hers tells the NY Daily News:

“She’s not focusing on motherhood. [Eva is] spending time with her family, lawyers and her special-needs sister, Elizabeth Judina. She’s not in the emotional state to become a mother right now. She just filed for divorce.”

Eva Longoria filed for divorce from Tony Parker after she reportedly found text messages on his phone from Erin Barry, the estranged wife of Parker’s former San Antonio Spurs teammate Brent Barry. Eva and Tony have been married for 3 years.
