With just weeks until Beyonce‘s new concert DVD hits shelves, the trailer has made its way onto the web to give fans a sneak peak of what to expect! Check it out (along with details about the DVD & the Thanksgiving special) below…
“Beyonce: I Am… World Tour” is due to hit stores exclusively at Walmart on November 26th with a deluxe DVD/CD edition to be released 4 days later on November 30th at most major retail outlets.
The DVD/CD combo will feature a 40-page page color booklet along with a 40 minute documentary.
And to top it all off, ABC will air the broadcast version of the DVD during a primetime Thanksgiving special for the network on November 25th (1 day before the DVD’s actual physical release). They did something similar to this last Thanksgiving to promote the release of Beyonce’s “Live at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas” DVD.
According to a press release, the World Tour live DVD was “directed and edited by Beyonce” and will feature footage from different shows all around the world, including cities in Europe, Asia, South America and of course …. here in the United States in order to “create the ultra Beyonce concert experience, seen from the artist’s perspective.”
Both the DVD and ABC special will feature guest appearances from Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z and her “bro-in-law” Kanye West.
