Disney star Demi Lovato has dropped out of the Jonas Brothers tour and checked herself into a medical treatment center.

According to PEOPLE, Lovato has decided to get help for an eating disorder and cutting herself.

“She fought through eating disorders and has struggled with cutting. [She] is taking control by getting help,” a close source told the mag.

It was also confirmed that a fight between Demi and a dancer on the tour contributed to her decision to seek treatment. The singer’s rep issued the following statement on her behalf:

“Demi Lovato left her tour early this weekend in order to seek medical treatment for emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time.”
