Juliette Lewis is resting at her home in California after being involved in a hit-and-run car accident in Burbank, CA Wednesday (Oct 6). The actress/musician, whose movie credits include “Kalifornia“ and “Natural Born Killers,” was being chauffeured home after an event for her new film “Conviction” when her town car was hit by another vehicle. The driver of that vehicle left the scene.
“The sedan Juliette was traveling in was completely totaled,” her rep said in a statement. “Ms. Lewis went to the hospital to be checked out and is a bit banged up and sore but otherwise thankfully okay. She is now resting at home.”
The hit-and-run driver’s vehicle, a Honda, was located a few blocks away and impounded, according to Sgt. Tracy Sanchez of the Burbank Police Department. The suspect, however, is still at large and police plan to investigate the collision.
