R&B crooner El DeBarge, who made his official comeback earlier this year at the BET Awards, covers the upcoming October 2010 issue of EBONY Magazine in a feature titled “EL DeBarge is BACK!”

In El’s rather detailed cover story, the 49-year-old R&B vet (who has been present on the music scene since the 80′s), touches on a number of topics, including releasing his first album in well over a decade (titled Second Chance), what it was like growing up with a father who “had some issues,” and he also speaks on his past drug abuse, jail and how he’s grown into the man he is today.
