Actress Lindsay Lohan is repeating history. With just hours left until Lindsay has to turn herself over to authorities in court Tuesday (Jul 20), the former Disney star managed to lose a lawyer, but fortunately for her, she was able to gain an old one just in the nick of time!
Robert Shapiro resigned from his position as Lohan’s defense attorney yesterday (Sun. Jul 19) after privately meeting with Judge Revel. There was no word on why he quit, however it is being said that Lindsay is mad at Shapiro because she believes that the only reason he agreed to represent her was to get publicity for his sober living house.
Luckily, Lohan’s former attorney Shawn Chapman Holley has stepped in and will be representing the troubled actress in court today.
Either way, it’s not going to be making much of a difference because she’s still going to the slammer!! (cue the confetti)
