Kellogg’s is Recalling 28 Million Boxes of Cereal!

June 26, 2010 by GOT Staff

Kellogg Co. has really screwed up this time!

The world’s leading cereal maker is recalling somewhere near 28 million boxes of cereal due to temporary symptoms such as nausea and diarrhea caused by an unusual taste and odor coming from the liner within packages. The recall covers Kellogg’s cereals: Apple Jacks, Corn Pops, Fruit Loops, and Honey Smacks. According to the Kellogg company CEO, President David Mackay:

“We apologize to our consumers and our customers and are working diligently to ensure that the affected products are rapidly removed from the marketplace.”

Might wanna hold off on the cereal for a little while people!

I emailed Kellogg about the bugs in their Rasin Brand Cereal. I found bugs in a box we had used about 1/2 of and I looked at a new box un-opened and there is BUGS. I have no response from Kellogg quess they don’t care. I still have the box of cereal un-opened.. I’ll never buy Kellogg’s products again..

would someone like to tell us what substance is causing the “odor”? certainly kelloggs has had a scientist analyze the source of the odor before spending multi millions of dollars for a recall. would be nice to know what the chemical is that is in the wrappers
