He was denied the chance to pay tribute last year, but this year, word on the sidewalk is that R&B singer Chris Brown is scheduled to pay homage to Michael Jackson during a tribute to the King of Pop at the 2010 BET Awards. Word on the street, from a VERY reliable source, is that powers that be have reached out to current embattled Pop star Chris Brown to bless the stage and pay homage to his musical idol in conjunction with the anniversary of his passing.

Details surrounding the super secretive surprise are being guarded, so I don’t have much on what exactly Chris will perform, but let’s be honest this opportunity could save both my new networks home in the eyes of the public, and Chris who is currently in the fight of his life every since that debacle almost a year and a half ago.
