The latest word is that the release of the Rated X flick has been postponed by Vivid Entertainment while they resolve a few legal issues behind the scenes. Kendra is reportedly fighting to halt the sex tape’s release altogether, though the cover of the DVD, aptly titled “Kendra Exposed,” has already been leaked (above).

The tape was recorded back in 2005 when the former playboy playmate was merely 18-years-old, long before she met her husband Hank Bassett. The couple, who are mother and father to 5-month-old Hank IV, are said to be at odds with each other pending the release of the explicit tape.

Meanwhile, Radar Online is now reporting that even though Kendra is publicly against the release of the tape, the TV star is somehow in the running to receive up to 50% of the sales generated if it gets released.

What’s more, RadarOnline.com is exclusively revealing that the man in the tape is the reality television star’s ex-boyfriend Justin Frye, who is a Mixed Martial Arts fighter. Frye was paid $100,000 by Vivid for the tape, a source with knowledge of the situation told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

“They have cut a deal,” our source said about both Kendra and Justin, clarifying that they cut separate deals with the company releasing the tape. Kendra publicly decried the upcoming release of the sex tape but now is in position to earn a fortune from it, the source revealed. He sold it for $100,000 and as that deal was concluded , Kendra was later brought on board. Faced with Vivid releasing the film it has titled Kendra Exposed, the former Girls Next Door star realized she could potentially make a fortune from its distribution and a financial agreement was reached, according to the source.

Frye, 28, and Kendra, 24, started dating when she was still in high school. Shortly after she graduated she moved into the Playboy Mansion and became part of The Girls Next Door. “Justin had a tripod in his bedroom for the camera and a stripper pole in the apartment,” revealed the source. “Kendra definitely was not shy about being in these tapes. There are tapes of Kendra in really compromising positions … doing a lot of embarrassing things.”

When Kendra moved out, she simply left the tapes behind. “It was a bad break-up… as soon as Hef took her, she was gone,” added our source. “But Justin knew what he had i and obviously waited for the optimum moment to sell it. He waited until Kendra’s fame hit a certain level… he was striking while the iron is hot, if you like. This was a well orchestrated plan.”

In 2008, Kendra made attempts to sell her own sex tape, as RadarOnline.com has previously revealed. She retained a lawyer and formed Home Run Productions, LLC in November of that year for the potential sale. But documentation viewed by RadarOnline.com specified the Hugh Hefner had to approve the deal. No deal was ever made. But before she found Playboy fame, she shot several sex tapes with Frye while they were living in San Diego together.

Two years later, an enterprising Frye masterminded his payday, according to the source. The tape will likely allow both “stars” to hit the jackpot.
