Jermaine Dupri is hoping to lead the production team behind R&B singer Mariah Carey‘s upcoming 13th studio album and tells Rap-Up.com that he’s in the early stages of recording Mimi’s follow-up to her 2009 album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.
“We started last week and we don’t take long when we get in, so hopefully a single before the end of the year,” he told Rap-Up.com. Bryan-Michael Cox and Johnta Austin are also involved with Mimi’s new music.
Meanwhile, Mariah is also working on a Christmas album and did a shoot for it with photographer to the stars David LaChapelle.
