Jennifer Lopez Confirms Signing with L.A. Reid’s Island Def Jam Records

The rumors were true. L.A. Reid, CEO of Island Def Jam Records, has signed Jennifer Lopez to his label. Lopez herself finally confirmed the news when she was asked about it while on the promotional train for her new movie “The Back Up Plan.”

Hitfix’s Greg Ellwood asked Lopez point blank “Are you signing with Def Jam” on Monday during an interview for “The Back-Up Plan” and she said yes, not once, but twice, smiling about the prospect. More »
