Young Money rapper Drake and rising pop sensation Justin Bieber were on hand Sunday night (Apr 18) for the 2010 Juno Awards, held at the Mile One Centre in Saint John’s, Canada. Drake, who walked the red carpet and took pictures with his mother Sandie, took home 2 awards that night for “Rap Recording of the Year” and “New Artist of the Year,” beating out fellow Canadian entertainer Justin Bieber.

During the show, Drake performed his latest single “Over” and surprised the crowd when he joined Justin Bieber, rapping a new verse for the 16-year-old’s “Baby” performance. The 23-year-old rapper and Justin also linked up with rapper/singer K’Naan (along with Canadian singer Nikki Yanofsky) for K’Naan’s “Waving Flag” performance.

The Juno awards are presented annually to musicians and bands from Canada in an effort to acknowledge their artistic and technical achievements in all aspects of music.
