Rumor: Drama Between Nicki Minaj and Rihanna Forced Nicki to Drop Out of the “Last Girls Alive” Tour?

Earlier, we told you guys about Nicki Minaj making the announcement via Twitter that she will not be joining Rihanna‘s upcoming concert tour. Well we are getting word via several media outlets that there was some drama going down behind the scenes. Apparently, Rihanna was not too happy when she heard that Nicki Minaj was going to join the tour simply because she felt that the hot female rapper would steal her shine during the tour.

An insider explained: “No one [in Rihanna's camp] is panicking yet, but there is DEEP concern that Rihanna has peaked, and is on the downside of her music career. Nicki [Minaj] was brought in to sell tickets, but Rihanna did NOT want her on.” Someone close to Young Money allegedly said: “Nicki is not an opening act, and we would never put her out there like that.”

Ultimately, Rihanna demanded that Nicki Minaj be dropped from the tour and when Nicki got word of this move, she personally reached out to Rihanna and let’s just say it wasn’t a very pleasant conversation…

The insider also said: “I only heard one side of the conversation, but [there] were a lot of curse words thrown back and forth.”

    Ummm.. The opinion on Rihannas career going downhill is obviously false. Just for the reason she currently has the #1 song in the country, and her latest album “Rated R” being her quickest selling album. She doesn’t need Nicki Minaj to sell. Nicki hasn’t achieved not even 5% of what Rihanna has on the charts.. All Nicki is about is her buzz. Nicki dropped out due to young money needing her to finish her album.. Well that’s what she tweeted.

    First of all the tour is called “The Last Girl On Earth” and second of all, this was Rihanna’s tour, not Nicki Minaj. Nicky Minaj said yes to the tour, but apparently only to attach her name to a big star like Rihanna. I guarentee that anyone who was going ever even heard of Nicki Minaj. Second of all, Rihanna doesn’t have to be scared of Minaj. Her song is #1 in the US right now and her next single “Rockstar 101″ is already going up the charts as we speak.

    This is totally false and meant to stir up trouble but too bad everyone already knows what’s up.

Rihanna has sold out her european tour dates AND there’s only 300 tickets left of her Madison Square Garden show and offical sales don’t start until tommorow!
