Shanell from Young Money is Having a “Baby Shower?”

Feeding off of rumors that she’s carrying Lil Wayne‘s newest seed, Young Money singer/songwriter Shanell is hosting a “shower” to celebrate the birth of her new “baby” (that’s what she’s calling her mixtape) Shut Up And Listen. So she’s basically calling her mixtape release party her “baby shower” to get people to raise some eyebrows and try to figure out what the hell she’s talking about. In short? This is your simple, run-of-the-mill marketing ploy. A smart marketing ploy, but still a “ploy” none-the-less.

The party goes down April 1st (April Fool’s Day) at Door 44 in Atlanta.
