Jay-Z Signs Alexis Jordan from “America’s Got Talent” to his RocNation Label

Looks like Jay-Z has his eye on creating the second coming of Rihanna. Hovi has signed 17-year-old Alexis Jordan from “America’s Got Talent” to his Roc Nation label:

Former ‘America’s Got Talent’ contestant Alexis Jordan has become the latest artist signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation imprint. The 17-year-old South Carolina native didn’t secure the winning spot when she appeared on the inaugural season of the show in 2007, but she impressed judges with her cover of Whitney Houston’s ‘I Have Nothing.’

Jordan later became a viral sensation with her YouTube covers of popular songs including B.o.B.’s ‘Nothing on You,’ and Jay-Z’s ‘Run This Town’ and caught the attention of executives at Stargate and Roc Nation. “I thought if they didn’t love me then they wouldn’t fly me all the way out to New York,” she said, after receiving the initial call from Stargate. “I knew I had a good chance. Once I got out there we recorded a few songs and Jay-Z came to the studio. I was so excited! And the next thing I knew I was signed to StarRoc/Roc Nation.”

    What’s really sad is i recognize that Jay Z is bringing about all these artists up under his label to corrupt them. Thus, the reasoning for all the dolls on rihannas website and the dolls on beyonces diva video. They are trying to gain more respect and money by bringing up more women to be like beyonce and rihanna to corrupt the entire community at large. Mainly starting with our young women. I read up on Jay Z and i know his plan and i will continue to expose it within the community. He is using Alexis Jordan. he’s letting her do her thing now with this corny song happiness but soon or a later she will be just like rihanna who started off oh so innocent–and so did beyonce, started off oh so innocent. He’s already turning bridget kelly into something dark. Wow. I wish people would wake up. i really do! These women are only puppets being used to bring more fame power and residual income to the Sean Carter brand. As does his corrupting clothing fortelling what the future lies for all people who follow him and the shady government. that’s why he’s created his own “nation” that’s why he’s saying he’s gonna run this town. Call me a conspiracy theorist but I know the truth, am aware of the truth, and refuse to buy into a lie. Jesus Saves! Get Saved!

    Okayy, there is no dening talent. To some she may not be as prettier than Rihanna, but come on, whether or not you like Alexis Jordan, you can’t deny that she is vocally blessed. And to the person who called her song chessey, who do you know that really starts off and isn’t still in that cheesy phase themselves? Not that many….And thanks GOD for youtube, because we all know whether you believe it or not, what the Rocstar lable is all about. And idk if she is aware, but hopefully she will come to realze what she has gotten herself into. Samething we use to say about rihanna when she was a island girl i think she sound better when she first came out any way .The only thing that really keeps us interested is her swagg and her hooks of her song not her voice .Come on … ever since umbrella all she do is repeats that catchy line.Think about hard and rude boy and umbrella.Specially that yeah yeah and ella ella and boy boy.
