1980′s Teen Idol Corey Haim Dies (1971 – 2010) of Accidental Overdose

Actor Corey Haim, a former teen idol who played in 1980s classics “The Lost Boys,” “Lucas” and “License to Drive,” died early Wednesday morning (Mar 10) in Burbank, CA of an apparent accidental drug overdose . His mother reportedly found him unconscious in her apartment early this morning and phoned emergency responders.

Various sources are reporting that four prescription drug bottles were found nearby, and Haim had been having flu-like symptoms in recent days. Coroner Lt. Cheryl MacWillie told reporters that he died at about 2:15 at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank. An autopsy will will be performed soon to determine the cause of death.

    Finally..out of his misery! It has been horrible to watch him fall face first all these years.
    Autopsy? Are you kidding…..not sure it is a real mystery there on what killed him!

    It appeared as if Corey Feldman sincerely tried to help him…but it was too late. He was too far gone and in the grips of his demons.
