Singer Mariah Carey hosted an official “end of tour party” commemorating the final date of her “Angels Advocate” tour Saturday night (Feb 27) at Haze Nightclub at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The party also featured an appearance by Ciara, who also performed at the bash.
In related news, Mariah reportedly left concert-goers (prior to this party) waiting for two hours so that a doctor could “examine her throat” before she went on stage. She apparently didn’t want to perform her final concert for her “Angels Advocate” tour at the Pearl Concert Theater until she received a clean bill of health from a physician after suffering problems with her vocal chords.
Following the show, she made her way to the after-party but when her vehicle pulled up, Ciara was performing so the R&B diva waited in her car until CiCi finished her set so that her grand entrance wouldn’t take away from Ciara’s performance. A source said: “Ciara was performing as Mariah arrived, so she waited in the car, saying she didn’t want to upstage her.”
