VIDEO: President Obama Grades Himself “A Solid B” on Oprah Winfrey Christmas Special

Oprah‘s Christmas special on ABC aired the other night and in her interview with President Obama, she asked him to grade himself for the year. He gave himself a “good, solid B-plus.” He added that he’d give himself an A- if health care passes before the end of the year.

“Good, solid B-plus,” the president said. Explaining, he said, “we have inherited the biggest set of challenges of any president since Franklin Delano Roosevelt. “We stabilized the economy, and prevented possibilities of a Great Depression or a significant financial meltdown. The economy is growing again. We are on our way out of Iraq. I think we’ve got the best possible plan for Afghanistan. We have reset our image around the world. We have achieved an international consensus around the need for Iran and North Korea to disable their nuclear weapons. And I think that we’re going to pass the most significant piece of social legislation since Social Security,and that’s health insurance for every American,” he concluded.”

Pressed by Oprah as to why only a B-plus, the president said, “B-plus because of the things that are undone. Health care is not yet signed. If I get health care passed we tip into A-minus.”

What type of president grades himself. This guy is a cocky son of a bitch.

Perhaps he would deserve a better grade (and award himself an “A”) if he fulfilled his campaign promises. Oh, no, I’m not referring to the “promises” of repaying his fellow corrupt Illinois politicians, or President B. Hussein Obama’s “promises” to close Guantanamo (and essentially try terrorists as American citizens in American CIVILIAN criminal court instead of American MILITARY criminal court… because apparently terrorists are merely “criminals” not “military enemies.”). I’m not even referring to shoving health care down the throats of Americans that DON’T WANT IT.

The main “promise” he made was to “govern from the middle” and “CHANGE” the climate of Washington. Wow. Washington is more divided than ever, and President Obama has not even tried to engage the other side (right side Republicans).

Pres. Obama gives himself a B+? Wow. That’s very humble. Even the great Democrats (and, yes, there have been many) have never been so shockingly conceited. Perhaps its because Pres. Obama has forever been more of a celebrity than a politician. Perhaps if he didn’t care soooo much about being “popular” and making sure EVERYBODY loves him, then he could actually fulfill his major promise of “CHANGE” and he could put his considerable talents to far better use.

The millions of people who voted him into office deserve that. At the very least, they deserve that.
