We all know that Beyonce likes to try something new every now and then and after recently announcing during her tour that she would release an album next year, many have been wondering what direction she is going to go in. In an interview with UK’s The Observer, Beyonce gave us a hint as to what direction she might be thinking:
The Observer: Is there anyone left you’d still like to record with?
Beyonce: Oh, where do I begin? There’s so many people I’d like to work with still, but I’d like to maybe go outside of the box. My sister [Solange] has put me on to bands like [indie group] Of Montreal and some other different types of artists. I would love to do something like that on my next album.
We’re hoping that with whatever direction she goes in, we’ll finally get that “classic” album from her. Seriously, how many times can you sing about leaving a man or “getting a ring on it?”
