UsherJay-Z and A-Rod Participate in New York Yankees World Series Victory Parade + Jay and Bridget Kelly Perform “Empire State of Mind”
Hip-hop star Jay-Z and New York Yankees baseball player Alex Rodriguez (aka A-Rod) battled the cold NYC air as they rode down lower Broadway on top of a big float Friday afternoon (Nov 6). The Yankees were celebrating their big World Series win over the Philadephia Phillies in a 7-3 victory, which marks the Yankees’ 27th Major League Baseball title.
At the end of the parade, Jay-Z and Roc Nation artist Bridget Kelly performed he and Alicia Keys’ hit single, “Empire State of Mind” outside of City Hall.
