[VIDEO] Snippet of Rihanna’s ABC Interview with 20/20

Good Morning America aired a snippet of the interview with Rihanna that will air tomorrow at tomorrow at 10pm EST on “20/20″. And it looks like she is going to go in on Chris Brown and possibly “the situation.” We’re kind of sad that this is what it’s resulted to to sell an album. We’re not condoning violence but to throw Chris under the bus simply to promote your own album…something about that doesn’t seem right.
Through all of Chris’ interviews, he held a sense of respect for Rihanna and what happened and said it was between both of them. Unfortunately, it looks like Rihanna will not be doing the same. We’re just hoping she doesn’t blame everything on Chris because even though we weren’t there, we know it takes two to tango and Chris didn’t tango alone. We wonder what his reaction is going to be after this airs.
Peep the video after the break:

I strongly believe that rihanna did not agree to do this interview with the intention to sell albums. She has clearly had a tremendous amount of success without publicly speaking out on a personal incident, so why would she start now. Especially because this incident involving chris brown is obviously very traumatic and difficult for her to deal with. Why the hell should she show him any respect when speaking of him. HELLO!!!! He physically abused her which shows no respect. Respect is something earned . . . beating on someone doesn’t earn you SH*T. And most importantly nobody knows exactly what happened so we don’t know who’s to blame, but we did see rihanna’s face after the incident. Enough Said!!

Then why would she choose to talk about it at a such a convenient time for her album release? It just baffles me. If she wanted to reach other girls, etc., she could have said something earlier and done programs to help since she’s done charity work. But she didn’t. She clubbed it up, and was at every fashion show and fashion event that happened in the past months. The timing of this whole thing is just too convenient to be a coincidence.

Whether or not she is doing it for publicity this is a real problem that happens too much and if she is doing it to promote her record, so be it. At least she is bringing awareness to a situation that happened. People are too soft on others (whether they are famous or not) who abuse people and its almost like society feels like its okay as long as its not spoken about, as long as people can pretend it didnt happen and it doesnt happen. IT DOES HAPPEN!!! Its more common than you think and behavior like this (excuses by the public) is what will allow it to continue to happen and people (males and females) will continue to lose their lives. Stand Up!!! Stop the excuses, take responsibility for your actions, and be supportive of what is right. R Kelly, Chris Brown and many others need to be held responsible for what they did and will continue to do because society lets them. Its a sad time we are living in.

By this interview Rihanna just shows the worl that she has gone through the situation and is ready to go back to the life again. I’m shocked that yall guys think she is doing it just cos of her album.. Even if she does, she has a right to do it after what she had experienced.

Wow, I didn’t know beating someone up that is way weaker than you was considered a “Tango”. Silly me, I thought that was a solo performance. “two to tango” does not apply in DV situations, just as it doesn’t apply in other power scenarios. Do you think a rape takes “two to tango” as well. Disgusting. And people are still spouting this ignorance after the picture of what he did to her??
