American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert premiered his new single “For Your Entertainment” taken from his debut album by the same title, due November 23rd. The track was produced by Dr. Luke and the single cover is above. As for the track, we’re pretty sure that with the right promotion and a hot video, it will be a hit. It’s extremely commercial and like other works from Dr. Luke, the song is a metaphor for sex. Download it below (or take a listen above) and let us know what you think!
this song is ok, but i don’t really hear anything hot or poppin’ here… it don’t have that funky, get down groove that makes me wanna shake that azz… kinda bland for club music… i’ll stick to gaga and david guetta.
You’re right, this is likely to be a hit because it is very commercial. That’s a *good* thing – the song is getting attention from people who didn’t know or care who Adam Lambert was.
Lambert has made it clear that his album contains a diverse range of styles to appeal to many musical tastes. So if you’re an “Adam fan” but you’re not digging this, don’t panic.

Such great fun matches the great beat. All you want to do is move and have fun. Super first single, Adam. Keep bringing them to us.
