R&B singer/songwriter John Legend and his model girlfriend Christine Teigen went out for lunch Wednesday afternoon (Sep 23) in the Soho district of New York City. After their meal, John took the couple’s bulldog out for a short walk.




Project Sunshine, a nonprofit that provides free educational, recreational and social programs to hospitalized children, recently held a benefit in New York City’s Nikki Beach on the Upper East Side. John performed at the event due to Christine’s involvement.

John: “My girlfriend Christine is very involved with Project Sunshine. She’s a volunteer and she helped organize this event and if I didn’t want to get kicked out of bed I had to be here tonight.”

Christine: “I clearly see John doing so much stuff with charity work and everything and when you’re around him so often you start to feel like you’re not doing anything. We wanted to make it a night of fashion and of art and music. The fashion show tied in with the fact that we had these amazing designers that wanted to be involved with Project Sunshine so much that they donated to the gift bags and with auction items as well.”
