Rapper Snoop Dogg took the stage at the Kandy Vegas lingerie party at the Palms Casino Resort Sunday (Jul 26) in Las Vegas.

In related news, Grammy Award winning soul singer Anita Baker has tapped the Doggfather for a collaboration for her upcoming Live DVD Project. She told Billboard that Snoop is working on an adaptation of Curtis Mayfield’s “Give Me Your Love (Love Song).”

“It’s lovely — who knew that Snoop is madly in love with his wife, you know? We’ve got a chance to see that in the way his music has grown, so when he comes in to do dialogue over that love theme, it becomes very grown up and contemporary at the same time.”

The former Def Jam CEO be acting as the headliner filling in for the Beastie Boys after the group was forced to cancel following an announcement that Adam Yauch had been diagnosed with a treatable form of cancer.

Michael Jackson’s alleged “love child” Omer Bhatti has denied the rumors circulating that Jackson is his father and also revealed why he was seated with Michael’s relatives at the memorial:

Omer, who lives in Norway, has revealed Jackson always used to say that he was like a son to him and he thinks that that must be the reason for all the rumours. Confiding in a close friend from Oslo, Omer said: “Michael is not my father. He and I were just very, very close. He was my best friend … Michael always used to say I was like a son to him,” he told the friend. “But my true parents are here in Norway. The reason I was asked to sit with his family at the memorial service is because I was Michael’s closest friend – not because I am his son.”
