Jill Scott Splits With Fiancee John Roberts

After giving birth to a bouncing baby boy in April,  GOT is very surprised to report that Soul and R&B singer-songwriter/actress Jill Scott has parted ways with her fiancee, musician John Roberts. According to Essence, Scott broke the news via an interview with the magazine when asked how Roberts was adjusting to their son Jett.

“When you have a baby you’re dealing with a lot of emotions and I don’t know how much of it had to do with us breaking up, but it happens”

Single motherhood may be calling upon her doorstep, but rest assure Scott & Roberts will work on remaining friends for the sake of their child.

“We definitely love our son and we are co-parenting and working on being friends. It is what it is. I have a lot of support, so I want for nothing as far as that’s concerned.”
