Though Soulja Boy has always respected Jay-Z, he recently told MTV that he didn’t always like his music, mainly because he was young and just didn’t understand what he was talking about. In response to his fans saying a Jay-Z collab wouldn’t work because “he’s lame,” Soulja Boy says that reason is definitely not the case. Now that he’s older and grown up, he’s a fan and would like to work with him in the future.

“Jay-Z, I always respected him. Always. But I didn’t always like his music. I guess because I was too young, and I couldn’t understand what he was saying. … I got signed when I was 16 years old. Before I got signed, I heard the song, and I was like, ‘That’s Jay-Z.’

Two of the newest rappers to jump onto the hip-hop scene, Kid Cudi and Asher Roth, are set to kick off their first headlining tour together this summer. Dubbed as “The Great Hangover Tour,” fans from 19 cities around the U.S. will be able to see Roth and Cudi perform their songs from their respective albums. The 19-city tour opens at the House of Blues in Boston on July 14th and wraps up August 5th in Washington D.C. at the 9:30 club with dates in Atlanta, Vegas, Denver, Cleveland, NYC and more.

Not to be outdone with news of his ex-wife Whitney Houston making a comeback to the music scene, Bobby Brown recently made a pretty big announcement at a Vegas nightclub.

While performing at Rok nightclub at the New York New York in Las Vegas, NV last Wednesday (Jun 3) he announced that he has another kid! His girlfriend/manager Alicia Etheridge gave birth to a baby boy, whom they named Cassius the previous weekend. This makes kid #4 (and baby mama #3) for Bobby. Yay for him. :)

Terrence Howard // "Fighting" Premiere in New York Terrence Howard is a “hero.” He recently stunned Beverly Hills motorists by jumping into the middle of the road and stopping traffic to save a baby bird, that had become separated from its mother, from getting hit by a bus, putting himself at great risk.

“Six lanes of traffic were stopped. A baby bird was walking in front of a bus when someone from the store came out and tried to help it. (He was) holding his hands up and stopping until the bird was out of harm’s way.”

Despite his well-known legal and financial issues, Michael Jackson is still shelling out unnecessary money. He has reportedly ordered his promoters to build a replica of his former Neverland ranch to make his stay in the U.K. this summer feel more like “home.” Recent reports say the undisputed King of Pop is renting a $24 million country house in Kent, England and a source tells British newspaper The Sun:

“Michael is quite particular. He’s missed living in Neverland since debts forced him to get rid of it four years ago. He thinks he can recreate a bit of its magic in Kent and concert bosses are happy to indulge him. He loves bowling, so has insisted an alley be created and he’s never lost his love of funfairs, so has demanded one be built in the grounds.”

Jackson had to vacate his beloved Neverland ranch in 2005 due to him falling deep into debt. The ranch was basically a private amusement park that featured a zoo and a rollercoaster, among other rides and attractions.

“This weekend, I was out in L.A., and I’m tweeting about [how] I had fried calamari and I had some buffalo wings and I just went totally off my diet. And it was great!” The View cohost said on the talk show Monday. “I did not know that my nutritional coach and my trainer follow me.”
