A Los Angeles photographer is suing Chris Brown and a Los Angeles gym for assault and battery, false imprisonment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and premises liability. According to the lawsuit, which was filed yesterday in L.A. County Superior Court, the photographer alleges that Chris’ bodyguards and an L.A. Fitness employee caused him physical harm after he shot a photo of Chris playing ball with his friends on the basketball court of the gym.

New York Jets safety Kerry Rhodes‘ New Jersey townhouse are at the center of a police investigation after a woman claimed she was raped there by two men this past weekend. Fortunately for Rhodes though, he is not a suspect in the case, according to Morris County prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi.

“Mr. Rhodes is not the target of any criminal investigation. Rumors and media reports to the contrary are untrue.”

A lot of stories are circulating about the Internet saying that T.I. and his longtime girlfriend Tameka “Tiny” Cottle tied the knot before Tip reported to Forrest City prison to serve his 366-day prison sentence. The reports state that the couple got married in a secret ceremony last Friday (May 22) in Miami.

But Gossip On This is here to let you know that although T.I. and Tiny are no doubt in love, but him going to prison for a year-and-a-day did not prompt the two to quickly get married in a “secret ceremony” in Miami. A highly placed source close to the couple revealed the news to us yesterday and T.I.’s publicist Sydney Margetson also told Sister 2 Sister that the news is “absolutely not true.”

So there you have it. They’re not married … yet! Shame on you Essence!

Actor Terrence Howard is now engaged to be married!

While on the set of his new war movie “Red Tails” over in Prague, the 40-year-old actor popped the question to his girlfriend, Colombian actress Zulay Henao, who flew all the way to Europe to visit him.

He announced the news Friday night when photogs bumped into the couple at a bar in Prague.

James Brown’s estate has been divied-up between his widow, Tomi Rae Hynie Brown, charity and the rest of his adult children. A judge went against The Godfather of Soul’s last will and testament in this settlement that was approved Tuesday (May 26). Brown, who died at age 73 on Christmas Day in 2006, stated in his will that his assets should be divided amongst his six adult children but that authenticity of the document, which was filed in January 2007, was called into question and his estate has been in limbo ever since.

The settlement approved by Judge Jack Early states that nearly half of Brown’s wealth will be given to his charitable trust, another quarter will be given to his widow Tomi Rae Hynie Brown and their young son James, and the rest will be given to his six adult children.
