Not only is he a triple threat in real life, but actor/singer/comedian Jamie Foxx is a triple threat on the cover of the April/May 2009 triple issue of Uptown Magazine. The issue, which hit stands Tuesday April 7th, talks about what drives Jamie’s ongoing success.
“Jamie Foxx is a powerful entertainer who doesn’t get all the credit he deserves as a musician, comedian and actor. Not since Sammy Davis, Jr. has there been a force that can flourish in all three mediums,” said Brett Wright, Uptown’s Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer. “His selection of film work and musical gifts are sure to leave a mark on Hollywood and entertainment.”
We think Jamie is one of the few celebrities who actually has had successful crossovers in his career. He’s funny as hell as a comedian, a damn good actor and can sing/write his @ss off. Keep stackin’ that paper, Jamie! Peep the other two covers when you continue reading.

Ciara thinks you Beyonce stans are “very, very funny” for taking your time pointing out how she ripped off Beyonce in her new Love, Sex, Magic softcore porn flick music video. But she commends you for the effort. Peep a snippet of her recent interview with Honey below.
People are talking about the similarities between Beyonce’s choreography and your choreography. I know what you were going for…
Right, I got inspired by the Vegas show, but go ahead. What do you want to know?
How do you even address that? Have you seen the screen grabs?
I don’t think there’s really anything to address. I think it’s very, very funny. And you know what my response is to that? For the ones that have something negative to say? They must have really enjoyed it that much to go and nitpick it, because it’s something they pulled up and was like, “Yo!” There were a couple of things in there that I’ve never seen. I think that it’s important for us as artists to be original and to create something new, so it would be really silly of me to go and create something you’ve already seen. So not one time were any of my references another artist. My references were clearly inspired from shows that I’ve actually seen. It goes to show how creative we can be and how close the worlds are. I did my first video with my metal outfit. I was inspired by Thierry Mugler. Now, from my understanding, Beyonce is using Thierry Mugler for her tour. It just is what it is. It’s very petty to me. When people nitpick something and they say negative things, my response to that is they really must have liked it that much. They just said, “This just can’t be! We gotta find something!” That’s also the definition of a person having too much time on their hands to do nothing. That’s how I look at that.

These celebrities are addicted to Twitter! And Mariah Carey proved that notion Thursday afternoon at about 12:17 PM when she posted that she and hubby Nick Cannon were involved in a minor car accident in Los Angeles. She said they were okay and neither of them were driving.
“Ok, so this is why I don’t drive,or get up early. Just got into a little car accident in la..but we’re all ok. Neither of us were driving.”

Rapper Bow Wow has publicly declared his love for Angela Simmons. The 22-year-old FLOP told Giant Magazine that the daughter of Joseph Simmons aka Rev. Run is the “love of his life.”
“Angela Simmons is the love of my life. She’s a young black woman doing something incredible. She’s a CEO of a company at 21 years old and a positive role model for kids.”
Angela Simmons needs a real man … not a little kid who’s pretending to be a grown man who can’t even sell 30,000 albums. Plus, she’s too fall for him. And we just don’t like him that much around here.
