Gucci ManeWe just caught word that Gucci Mane will not be performing in Greenville, SC at the Civic Center Friday night as previously scheduled. According to our boy illseed over at All Hip Hop, the Atlanta rapper has landed himself back behind in jail. This time, for domestic violence. He was rumored to be arrested this morning.

Gucci Mane is back in jail already? I don’t know, but I am getting word that Gucci Mane might already be in jail. Apparently he was supposed to be performing in Greenville, SC. Then everything got all messed up. I am hearing that last night there were text messages being forwarded around saying he got locked up this morning for domestic violence. Now, I don’t know what he did, but I hope that a certain video didn’t come back to haunt Gucci.

And we were about THIS close to snagging an interview with him tonight! Oh well…

UPDATE: Gucci Mane did an interview with Greenville radio station Hot 98.1 earlier today and is NOT in jail. The show will go on as planned.

Kobe & Vanessa Bryant

Los Angeles Laker Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa are being sued by their maid, reports TMZ. The former housekeeper, Maria Jiminez, claims Vanessa was extremely abusive and called her names, even demanding that she put her hand in a bag of dog crap to get a tag from her blouse. And that’s not even half of it. Reports say Vanessa wanted to deduct the cost of the blouse from the maid’s salary!

Maria Jimenez claims Vanessa called her “lazy, slow, dumb, a f**king liar, and f**king sh-t.” In the lawsuit filed in Superior Court in Orange County, Jimenez claims Vanessa accused her of stealing her (mouth) retainer. Jimenez says it got so bad — Vanessa allegedly “badgered, harassed and humiliated Maria by yelling and screaming at Maria and criticizing her in front of Kobe, the Bryants’ children, employees and other people in the household” — she threatened to quit but Kobe talked her out of it.

Boehner (Republican)The day President Obama revealed his  $3.6 trillion budget to revive the economy, Republicans from left to right have been criticizing him for spending way too much with fears that his trillion dollar budget will dig us deeper into debt during a weakened economy. Democrats have been firing back defending the President stating that Republicans have offered no solutions but only criticism which will not help the situation get any better.

With criticism coming from the Democratic Party,  House Republicans on Thursday have come up with an alternate budget which they say  “shows a leaner budget, a budget with lower taxes, lower spending and lower borrowing.”

Chris BrownChris Brown made a surprise appearance Saturday afternoon at Norfolk State University in his home state of Virginia prompting rumors of the troubled singer enrolling in college. But a source told TMZ that he was just visiting the school with a cousin and has “not enrolled” and is “not interested” in attending NSU.

Brown, his mother and his cousin spent their Saturday taking the First View campus tour — a guided, private trek through the entire Norfolk campus, including the dorms, the offices and the classrooms. We’re told some people recognized Brown on the tour, but sources close to the situation tell us, “People know what’s going on with him and they were not paying him much attention at all.”

Michael JacksonMichael Jackson’s crazy @ss wants to adopt a child. That should be illegal, right? We love Mike to death, but we all know he hasn’t the best luck with his relationships with little children. And now he’s reportedly planning on adopting a child when he visits the U.K. for his “This is It” tour. He already has three of his own, Prince, 11, Paris Katherine, 10, and Prince Michael II, five.

A source tells British newspaper the Sunday Express the King of Pop hopes to adopt a child while staying in Britain for his 50-date residency at London O2 Arena later this year (09). The source says, “Before his concerts he has said he wants to spend at least three weeks in Britain, getting used to the time zone and exploring the country. It is during this period that he wants to have meetings about adoption. He has not said if he wants a boy or girl, just that it would be good for the family to have another brother or sister.”
