R&B Singer Chris Brown has officially removed himself from the ballots and anything associated with the upcoming 2009 Kid’s Choice Awards. The following press release says that while Chris Brown would love to talk to his fans directly about this and other issues, legally he isn’t able to do so right now.
A spokesman for Chris Brown said that, given the controversy surrounding his nominations for Kids’ Choice Awards, he is withdrawing his name from consideration. “Chris very much appreciates the support of his fans and the honor they have paid him in the way of nominations for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song. Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding the incident last month has shifted the focus from the music to whether he should be allowed to be among those nominated. While Chris would like to speak to his fans directly about this and other issues, pending legal proceedings preclude his doing so at this time. Once the matter before him has been resolved, he intends to do so.”
Brown is due in court on April 6th 2009 to face charges of assault and making criminal threats to girlfriend Rihanna.

The New York Post’s bogus story detailing an intimate dinner between singer Ginuwine and actress Lisa Raye-McKissick was shot down by a rep who reminded AOL Black Voices that Ginuwine was a married man and Lisa Raye is still a legally married woman.
On Sunday, March 8 in the ‘Page Six’ column of the daily newspaper, it was reported that McCoy and Ginuwine dined together at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills and “after posing for the paparazzi outside, they proceeded to kiss throughout their meal.”
“There’s absolutely no truth to this story. My client and Ginuwine are just friends. Ginuwine is a married man! LisaRaye is still legally a married woman and has absolutely no time to even think about dating as she works to get both her personal and professional affairs in order,” said publicist Lynn Allen Jeter.

T.I. told MTV News that his former feud with fellow Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo wasn’t beef. Because he’s just too grown for a word like “beef.”

I never even considered it to be a big deal to begin with. Donald Trump wants the “Good Girl Gone Bad” to know that she’s a loser for going back with Chris Brown and she doesn’t deserve any success the future brings her. Harsh!
Trump tells “Inside Edition” that Rihanna should not reunite with Chris Brown, as she is reported to have done at Sean Comb’s Miami mansion before Brown’s court appearance last week.

The Jonas Brothers have announced a world tour, which will begin this summer in Dallas, TX and will last throughout August 2009 with the final North American show ending August 31, 2009. Overseas tour dates haven’t been announced yet. The show will be sponsored by Live Nation and Burger King and will feature opening act Jordin Sparks. What is this, the “Purity Ring Tour?”
Grammy nominated and platinum-selling recording artists, Jonas Brothers, today announced the dates and cities for “The Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009.” The tour, which will take the band to three continents, will feature new music taken from the June 15 worldwide release of their upcoming Hollywood Records album. “The Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009,” presented by Burger King(R), kicks off in Dallas at New Cowboys Stadium on June 20 and will take the band throughout the United States and Canada. In addition to their 44-city North American trek, Jonas Brothers will also play three European dates including recently sold-out shows at Paris’ Zenith Arena and London’s Wembley Arena plus a just-added date at Madrid’s Palacio De Deportes.
