Oprah Winfrey & Michelle Obama Cover O Magazine

Television and worldwide mogul Oprah Winfrey interviewed our First Lady, Michelle Obama, for O Magazine. First Lady Obama and Oprah shared the magazine too, which marks the first time in O Magazine history that antoher human being (besides Oprah herself) has covered the popular women’s magazine. Peep a snippet of the interview below:

For all the majesty of the White House, the First Lady has already infused it with a palpable ease; her presence makes the place feel open and approachable. When we sit down to talk, she seems as relaxed as she did when I first interviewed her and her husband in their Chicago apartment in 2004. “This room has the best light in the house,” she tells me as we settle in, shoes off, on a comfortable sofa. “And there’s pie here, too. The pie in the White House is dangerously good.” — Oprah

Oprah: So after the inauguration, what was your first weekend in the White House like?

Michelle Obama: Well, we still had family here, so it was almost like a wedding. A huge, very complicated wedding. The last visitors didn’t leave until Sunday. And then the first Monday was kind of weird. You know: Now we live here, and Barack is getting up and going to work, and it’s just us. This is our home now.

Oprah: I had heart palpitations coming through the White House gate, recognizing that this really is now your home. It’s the White House, and it’s your home.

Michelle Obama: And it’s a beautiful home. When you go out and come back, especially at night, with all the white lights on—it’s just beautiful. We feel privileged, and we feel a responsibility to make it feel like the people’s house. We have the good fortune of being able to sleep here, but this house belongs to America.

Rihanna Rihanna's battered face

We’ve been hearing a lot about these “other Rihanna pictures,” that sources say look a lot worse than the one TMZ leaked! Apparently, these photos were taken the next morning, once bruising and swelling set in. Peep what our boy illseed said:

So word is that there is another picture of Rhianna out there somewhere. And this picture is so horrifyingly horrible that folks believe it will spell doom and gloom for C Breezy if it is ever dropped on the masses by mistake on purpose. We’ve all been in a fight. You know what you looked like the next morning. It was waaay worse than the night of.

The first photo was bad, so if these other photos are worse, we’re afraid of what may happen to Chris Brown ourselves if they were to get into the wrong hands and end up on the internet. Just imagine how bad that sh*t must look! The affidavit talks about how he repeatedly punched her in the face and bit her on her fingers and on her ear. As if smashing her head against the window and threatening to kill her wasn’t enough…

Nicole Murphy & Michael Strahan

Your boy Michael Strahan plays no games when it comes down to making sure his women are being completely faithful. When the former footballer suspected his longtime girlfriend, Nicole Murphy, of cheating, he reportedly put a tracking device in her car. And sources say he wasn’t too happy about her finding it. Murphy and Strahan have been a couple since 2007 and her five kids from her marriage with comedian Eddie Murphy are pretty fond of him, sources say. But Murphy was cutting out on Strahan with a record exec.

Murphy boasted in February 2008 that she and Strahan have a relationship based on “communication and shared interests.” But she also had been sharing interests with Universal Records A&R exec Demetrius Spencer. Introduced by a mutual pal, Murphy had been “hiding” her affection for Spencer from Strahan “for almost a year,” the sources said. Using the excuse of “business trips,” a source said, Spencer and Murphy would jet off to exotic getaways in the Caribbean and Mexico.

For several months, the couple had exchanged gushing e-mails, professing their love for each other. In the notes, some of which were obtained by The Post, Murphy told Spencer she planned to come clean to Strahan about their relationship. Murphy also began to suspect Strahan was checking up on her. There were “too many instances where he knew where she was,” said a source.

Things came to a head Feb. 20, after Spencer and Murphy took her Range Rover to a luxury dealership in Thousand Oaks, Calif.. Mechanics quickly discovered the tracking apparatus.

“This is the second tracking device he’s had put in her car,” one source said.

Flo Rida Chris Brown

A false story was put out last week saying that Flo Rida had reportedly dropped Chris Brown (like a bad habit) from the roster on his new album R.O.O.T.S. due to the nasty allegations against the pop singer. But Flo Rida wants everyone to know that is NOT the case. In fact, the song had been removed from the album at least a month before the “incident” involving Chris Brown and Rihanna.

The rapper tells Usmagazine.com exclusively that the rumors that he removed a collaborative track with Brown from his upcoming R.O.O.T.S. album — because of the singer’s publicized altercation with Rihanna –are untrue. The reports, which have been published on various sites, quote Rida as saying: “I recorded a great song with Chris. But I won’t be releasing it now because of what’s going on with him and Rihanna. It could have been my next No. 1.” Rida tells Us he never said that.

“I think someone must have got it twisted,” Rida says.

EminemInterscope announced yesterday (Mar. 5th) that Slim Shady is back! Rapper Eminem and his record label officially announced the street date of his eagerly anticipated new album, Relapse. The LP is set to be released on May 19th 2009 and will be the rapper’s first album in over for years.

Anticipation for Relapse has been building since the fall, when Eminem first announced the album title and debuted the freestyle, “I’m Having A Relapse,” during an interview on his Shade 45 satellite radio station. Last month, the release of “Crack A Bottle” from Eminem, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent brought that anticipation to a head. The track soared to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (Eminem’s second #1 after 2002’s “Lose Yourself”) and set a Nielsen SoundScan record for opening week download sales (418,000). The recording ranked third in the history of all weekly download sales. “Crack A Bottle” will be included as an album track on Relapse.

With the announcement of the release date for Relapse also comes confirmation of something that had been rumored in recent weeks: Eminem is already working on a follow-up album, Relapse 2, that fans can expect in the second half of 2009. “A lot of people were expecting Relapse to drop last year,” said Eminem. “I was one of them. Then Dre and I went back in the studio in September for a few days, and that turned into six months. We were on such a roll; we wound up with a ton of new music produced by Dre. Putting out Relapse 2 will let everyone get all of the best stuff.”
