I’m sorry, but I don’t have any sympathy for her ass at all. This whole thing has been one-sided from the beginning and it’s not fair. #1, because everybody and their mama feel they have the right to lend their opinion like they’re the judge and #2, because NOBODY WAS THERE TO SEE WHAT ACTUALLY WENT DOWN! She may have been all hugged up with him cheesing in pictures before all of this went down, but we don’t know what went down before that. He obviously looked annoyed or pissed in those pictures so some shit probably could’ve been going on before the fight even happened. She’s being put on a pedestal and it’s not right. . . especially when she may have assaulted him or done anything to him. Everybody was making their own judgements off of so-called “reports” from different “sources” and “witnesses”. We have yet to hear Chris’ side of the story and this picture isn’t nearly as bad as people were claiming. People are failing to realize she didn’t have her fucking glam squad with her to prepare for these pictures and after you fight, shit is gonna swell up. There are regular everyday people getting beat up and you don’t see their injuries posted on TMZ and shit. I watched my own mother get beat when I was a little girl, but they didn’t put her on the news or give her or anybody else special spotlight. And another thing, I could’ve sworn it was against the law to disclose names and evidence in cases like this. . . I just want people to stop being one-sided and realize two people were in this altercation, not one. Nobody knows what kind of bruises Chris may have obtained from this. I bet if she got into an altercation with another female and got her ass beat, it wouldn’t be a big deal. I put money on it. That’s how sick the world is . . .People can crucify Chris without any evidence or facts but continue to support R. Kelly pissin on kids and other people charged and CONVICTED of assault.

At the end of the day no matter what way the media has played this there is no denying that picture. There is no excuse at all for what he’s done. Period. I tried to take the side of I won’t judge until I see some actual proof and this gets no more definitive. It is obvious that both sides will need much needed counseling and prayer because this is a tragedy on all sides. I don’t know how, if ever, Chris Brown will be able to recover from this career wise, but more importantly I hope that he takes this as an opportunity to literally go to Jesus & figure out who he wants to be as a man. Two people were in an argument and she got the short end of the stick, but I’m not gonna go around calling Chris a woman beater and shit over ONE incident. i was with my ex for 1 year and 4 months when he started showing agressive behavior,

I’m very disappointed in CB if this is really the results of his and RiRi’s disagreement. All couples have their ups and downs, but it’s not okay for either party to physically assault the other. I took the time to read all the little inputs, and I must say that my opinion has not changed. I still stand by Chris Brown. I just want to say I have read all of you guys comments. I am a teacher in school and I have children who really enjoy Chris Brown as a entertainer. Jai has a very good point, none of us were present for the incidents as hand. We don’t know if Rihanna was attacking this young man while he was driving and he was defending himself. Think about it! Why is it they always tell the man to “just walk away it’s a woman”? The realty is it is becoming more common today that women are hitting men and feeling they can get away with it because nornally the police will side with the woman no matter what eh facts are. Many men will not speak up about the abuse they receive at the hands of women because they think they will be called punks and all other kinds of names or looked at as less than a man. Another valid point is would society really care if it were you, I or someone that is not famous. Abuse is wrong no matter who it is. If Chris did hit her for whatever reason, if you guys were loyal fans you support the fact that the young man wants to seek help. Everyone makes mistakes wheither it is abuse, drug deals or even gun charges like my sweetie T.I. But you have to learn from those mistakes. I really believe in my heart of hearts that Chris Brown regrets it getting to the stage it made it to. I personally feel bad for entertainers overall because of all the presures they have to face and still be able to hold down a solid relationship. To me Chris and Rihanna never really stood a chance because of all the public pressure they are under even right now. If she forgives him and they move on you will call her stupid. If she leaves him and she was the abuser and you find that out will you still make all the remarks your making about Chris right now? Don’t be fair weather fans. Rally behind him to get the help he needs to he can continue to perform and provide the music you all love. I think he is a gifted young man who reacted poorly to whatever he was going through at the time. But again we were not there and I am sure many of us have reacted wrong to situations in our past that we regret. I was once abused myself. I don’t defend anyone hitting but I also know there are times when you are put in a situation where it is self defense not abuse. Let them work it out for themselves. I hope Chris and Rihanna see this message. I wish them both healing and love to get pass whatever has happened between them. Even if your just friends let that be their choice and not all this public judgement that is going on right now.

I can’t say it enough …
You women on this blog (Diamondone, Ashley from NY, Danita Harris, etc.) have really touched me. All my life, the only woman who ever defended me in my many fights with women was my Mom. She knows that a man can be pushed to do certain things and that it’s not his fault. She was hit from time to time by my father for 20 years and stayed with him because she knew that she brought it on herself. I love the fact that you ladies are defending CB. We need more of you all to speak up from brothas like us.

I have read some opinionated comment in this discussion thread and would like the oppurtunity to voice my own.
I believe that there are two sides to every story, however the media has only endeavoured to release Rihanna’s side. Men do not just violently assualt women for no reason whatsoever, there must have reason why Chris Brown did what he did. However I believe that domestic violence is wrong but you must also remember that men too get assaulted by women and it has allegedly been reported that Rihanna hit Chris first. Unlike Rihanna, Chris is only still a kid of 18/19 and everybody makes mistakes. We need to open up our eyes and read between the lines of the media and make up our own judgements not just believe what is thrown at us. Chris Brown hit Rihanna once, just one that does not make him a WIFE BEATER but he should be punished for what he did as violence is unjustifiable. To be truthfully honest, I find this whole incident rather annoying because many men, women and children are subjected to violence everyday yet the media seem not to care about that but suddenly an ‘A-list celeb’ is assaulted and this is suddenly a paparrazis paradise.
However, I wish Rihanna the a healthy recovery and hope that Chris Brown will be able to continue his career as he is a role model for many youngsters and it would be a shame for his career to stop because of a mistake he made.
