Jay-Z and Chris Brown

A person in Jay-Z’s camp claims that the rapping hip-hop mogul “hit the roof” when he found out about what allegedly happen between Chris Brown and Rihanna!

“He hit the roof,” a source close to him told Us Weekly. Jay-Z allegedly said that “Chris is a walking dead man. He messed with the wrong crew.”

Dead man walking? Jay-Z better slow his roll before he has to have one of his hips replaced!

Nick CannonNick Cannon must have gotten tired of the warmth of Mariah Carey’s bosom, so he’s decided to take on a new gig! According to a report published by Reuters, NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” has enrolled the rapping, acting comedian to replace Jerry Springer as the host of the television show. Cannon will begin hosting the show this summer when it returns for its fourth running season.

Cannon is the third host for “Talent,” which launched in 2006 with Regis Philbin at the helm. Springer bowed out last week.

The hosting gig is part of deal Cannon that involves unspecified future projects at NBC. He brings a younger face to “Talent,” whose celebrity judges are Sharon Osbourne, Piers Morgan and David Hasselhoff. Though “Talent” is the most-watched show in the summer among total viewers, NBC wouldn’t mind boosting its numbers among the key adults 18-49 demographic.
