Fantasia Barrino says that she’s ready to get some studying in so that she can earn her high school degree. The 24-year-old American Idol star dropped out of high school when she was in the 9th grade.

“I’ve been talking about it for so long,” Fantasia told E! Online. “I have a lot of young people who look up to me, like my 15-year-old brother and 7-year-old daughter. It’s something that I really need to do and that I want to do.”

This is definitely a good look for Fantasia!
