According to a recent report by Forbes Magazine, Beyonce and Jay-Z are the richest Hollywood couple. Collectively, the two racked up $162 million between June 1st 2007 and June 1st 2008. They’re the only couple on the list with 3 digit million-dollar figures. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith came in at #2 on the list with them reportedly earning $85 million, which is a little more than half of what Jay and Beyonce make. Any way you slice it, the chart-topping newlyweds have had a monster year. He banked $82 million by signing a $150 million 10-year recording, touring and merchandising deal with concert promoter Live Nation and releasing his second platinum comeback CD, American Gangster. She raked in $80 million, thanks to an entertainment empire including fashion, film and publishing deals as well as a concert tour that sold $50 million in tickets and endorsement deals with L’Oréal, Direct TV and American Express, among others.

Rihanna needs to start “Breakin’ Dishes” over some b*tchez heads over at Def Jam because her demos are surfacing like nobodies business! Please, don’t believe in coincidence. This was planned by the label or someone is attempting to sabotage this girls project. Regardless, all the tracks we’ve heard here at GOT thus far have been complete FIRE!!! “U Make Me Sick,” is produced by Brian Michael Cox and the lyrics are simple and straight to the point. Lovin’ the way the verses lead to the chorus. This young lady is telling a serious story that most young ladies should be able to relate to!

Def Jam’s leading superstar from the south, Ludacris has pushed back his sixth effort, “Theater of the Mind,” to November 25, 2008. The album is coming together rather nicely and a new song just leaked titled, “I Do It For Hip-Hop.” The song features Nas, and Jay-Z. It’s the ultimate track all three coming swinging hard on this track with great punches, clever witt, and amazing swagger. The track touches on numerous of personal attachments to Hip-Hop for this Def Jam trio. We hope you all enjoy the track as much as we did.
